Hey everybody! I’m Julia Sun and I’m a grade 12 student at St. Augustine CHS. I’m so happy to be one of your co-chairs this year for CTA! (I’m the tall one) This is my third year on the council, and I’m so excited to see all the 🔥🔥🔥 events we’re going to host this term. Asides from planning crazy, fun events for CTA, I enjoy watching cheesy rom-coms, reading cheesy books, and eating cheese. My life-long goal is to get an amazing job in Marketing, be happy, and settle down with lots and lots and lots of dogs. You definitely won’t want to miss out on what we have planned for this year, so come out to our events and say hi!
Hi! My name is Tania Kwan and I'll be one of your co-chairs this year! I’m a Grade 12 IB student attending Bayview Secondary School whose interests include drinking milky beverages and regretting it immediately (I'm lactose intolerant) and imitating Linda from Bob’s Burger’s catchphrase: “Alriiiight!” I also have dreams of going to law school at Columbia University and becoming a successful lady lawyer in the heart of NYC. I love CTA because we're all about promoting youth artistic expression, and I'm all about that. Hit me up @taniaparkinglot on Snapchat if you wanna chat about CTA or if you want cute pics of my forehead!!!!
Hey guys! I'm Ethan, but most people call me Ethan. I'm super excited for another year creating lit videos for CTA... cuz ya know what they say, it's always better the second time!! Anyway, to properly introduce myself, I am a grade 12 student in attendance at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School; an educational institution named after the father of our current Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. Did you know African elephants have a gestation period of 640 days, on average? Formalities aside, in my spare time I like to get lit with my advanced functions textbook because it makes me happy. So, if you ever wanna talk about cubic functions, or anything else, feel free to hit me up!
Hello! My name is Andy Liu, and I am an upcoming grade 12 student at Markville Secondary School! This will be my second year in Creativity Through Arts, Aside from my position as Executive associate co-director of marketing on CTA, I am a part of other volunteer organizations and groups such as PUYO, and MYC. During my free time I enjoy rock climbing, and listening to music at exceptionally loud volumes. Similarly to everyone else, I love travelling and I hope to visit all places in the world which are famous for their night markets (Tokyo, Taiwan, Bangkok, Taipei, etc.), and to visit all Michelin 3-star restaurants. In the upcoming future I wish to be an accountant and to further my studies in business! Feel free to contact me at anytime regarding the council, or if you have any questions or concerns!
Hi friends! My name is Eric Wu and I am a Grade 12 TOPS student at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute. After an amazing two years with CTA, I'm excited to work with the team again and make this year even more outstanding! (((((((((((((((((((((( I'm pretty chill but i occasionally can be lowkey passive aggressive. I've gotten two concussions in my life and the second one got me to stop responding with "mhm" and "hm?" and with actual words instead)))))))))))))
Oioioi whatsup guys its me Daniel Chang. howdy I am currently in grade 10 at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School and I'm a young ol chap who is new to the CTA team. One of my pass times as well as my passion is dance. Dance is something I'd like to pursue as a career professionally and it will always be something that can bring a smile onto me face :) If you guys have any serious inquiries or would just like to engage in some casual banter hit me up dawgs. Or better yet if you wanna challenge me to a 1v1 battle than hmu and u best be ready to get destroyed. Thanks !! 😊
Bonjour!! I am Sanjay Kiru, I'm in grade 9 at Markham District High School this is my first year working on CTA, I love working with people and helping them with anything I can. I'm the type of person where if I'm wasting time by doing absolutely nothing I actually go crazy. I love laughing and joking around but still being productive, I am also really loud lIke my normal voice is probably like your yelling voice. I am very excited to be working with the Creativity Through Arts Council this year, AND NEXT YEAR YOU SHOULD BE APPLYING HERE TOO! :)
Hello! I’m Brittany Young and I’m in grade 11 at Markham District High School. I’m super excited (like night-before-Christmas excited) for my second year on CTA! I enjoy planning events, both in and outside of clubs, and drawing (but I’m too much of a perfectionist to actually finish anything). Over the past year, my most said quote other than “I’m hungry” or “Why isn’t the school year over yet” has been “You should come to the CTA coffeehouse!” because I am a strong believer in shameless promotion. BTW, we probably have a coffeehouse soon so you should come (: SO YAY, can’t wait to do amazing things with this council again this year!!!
HELLO I'm Jenny and I'm a grade 12 student at Markville Secondary School. I have a profound love for stationery (esp muji pens and pastel highlighters), aesthetic notes, and binge watching TV shows. I also tend to take very long naps to compensate for not sleeping enough at night, am too lazy to wear my contacts half the time, and pour the milk before the cereal (don't hate me). This will be my second year on CTA and I'm super excited to work with the exec team for another year so we can continue to unleash our creativity :)
Hey! My name is Horace Looi and I'm a grade 11 student at Unionville H.S (not an arts student sadly). This is my first year working on CTA and I'm really excited to be working with such a great group of people! My interests and hobbies include basketball, volleyball, swimming, science (its nerdy, I know) and doing nothing at home (I'm super lazy, I only move when I play sports). I dream of being a researcher in a lab somewhere in the world, discovering something the world has never seen! I know that this year is going to be an amazing year for CTA so keep an eye out for our events!
Hiya I'm Sherry and I'm a grade 12 student at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School. I'm super excited to be a part of the Logistics Team for my first year on CTA! Outside of CTA events, you'll either find me working at the pool, in DECA, at cheer practice or on stage (If I'm not on stage, I'm probably yelling and directing the actors who are on stage). Feel free to hit me up with any questions, cheers!
Hey there! My name is Kristen Price and I am a grade 12 student at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School. This is my third year on CTA, and it has been amazing to see our growth as a non-profit and visit some of the real change we are making in communities in Kenya. If you have any questions about Creativity Through Arts, or our involvement with World Vision, I would love to tell you about it! You can always find me in a local library, paint-covered in the studio or at our Coffeehouse events. I can't wait for you to experience the amazing things we have planned and become a part of the change we make in lives of real people! (Insta: k.w.price)
Hey guys! My name's Bea Angulo, and I'm a grade 12 student from Markville SS. Gifted with an array of many talents (e.g. over-exaggerating), I pride myself in my pun-dropping, shower-serenading, and power-napping expertise. I'm super stoked for my first year with CTA: I can't wait to pump out some really cool graphics for ya! (BTW, I love talking to people, so yeah, this is an open invitation to hmu!!)
Hey guys! My name is Cara Mu and I'm a grade 12 IB student at Bayview Secondary School. Being on this council last year was SO awesome that I came back for more. My passion includes painting, design, netflix, discovering and devouring great food, as well as keeping a messy but somewhat artsy ig account (follow me @moderat0 LOL). But my biggest passion of all is to be a part of organizations like CTA to plan fun and unique events for you! Hit me up if you have any questions, and hope to see you at our next event!!! :)
I really like to think im good at stuff, until I compare my work to teens from Markham. I like to seem to know what im doing but I really don’t. I don’t know what im doing with my life or even how to be a normal human being. I try to broaden my horizons whenever I can, and learn new things whenever I can. I love to jump at new opportunities to experience new things. My workaholic lifestyle has helped me learn a whole bunch of new things like learning to play four instruments and using adobe programs with superb knowledge. I try to be an open person who doesn’t limit themselves based on judgement. I also sound really dry and dead all the time but I promise you im not.
Hello fellow humans of Earth, my human name is Jason Xian, I am currently attending human school at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School. I have various interests ranging from studying for math to studying for science in order to achieve my life goals. Feel free to contact me at anytime, as I do not have many friends and too much free time, I would love to have a short conversation on any topics, even if it is not related to CTA!
Hi! I'm Elizabeth Razzouk, and this is my first year at CTA. Currently, I'm a niner at Bayview Secondary School that is as cringe as one can be. I like to wake up at nearly noon every Sunday, write stories about sad space beings, and watch documentaries. A future aspiration of mine is to make a visit to the North Pole and experience a week or so there. I'm so excited to be part of the council this year, and can't wait to create great things with everyone! You can contact me questions about me or the team at any time. :)
Heyo, I'm Stephen Choi and I'm excited to be back on the council for a second year. This year, I'll be in gr. 12 woot woot, and hoping to reach waterloo next year. In my spare time I like to sleep, eat and workout. If you have any questions about the council or about me feel free to contact me whenever!
Hi everyone! My name is Jayson and I am a grade 12 student at Bayview Secondary School. My greatest accomplishments in life include eating three worms at once and watching the entire series of Friends more than ten times! This is my second year at Creativity Through Arts and I am looking forward to an awesome experience, and hosting some pretty dope events. If you have any questions about our council or myself, holler at me! Here’s to a sick 2016-2017 year!
